Stan, Jayne, Carole and families would like to take this opportunity of expressing their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours both past and present for the many considerate messages of sympathy, cards and letters of condolence and many donations which totalled £2,165.00 (£765.00 for Cancer Research UK, £700.00 for Rudyard Chapel, £680.00 for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and £20.00 for Bosley Church) received in memory of Irene - a much loved wife, mum and gran. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at The Douglas Macmillan Hospice and staff at Leek Moorlands Hospital for all their care and attention and also to the Rev Anne Gibson for all her kindness and support shown throughout Irene's illness.
